Looks very solid physically, strong and decent explosiveness, but seems to lack the speed to turn the corner. He seems more of a solid all-around DE who can play the run and be around the ball, rather than a speed pass-rushing guy.

Watching the Senior Bowl practices again, I really didn't see any DEs/OLBs that stood out. Cliff Avril didn't impress me too much, looked rather skinny in the arms/legs and never really showed explosiveness. The DTs were more impressive, imo. Aside from Ellis and Laws on the North, there were two others on the South who impressed me (and who might be candidates in the middle rounds as a backup NT):

Andre Fluellen (6'1", 296, 5.049)
He was consistently blowing by the o-line and, most importantly, disengaging from the blocker. He just looked a level above the other DTs on the South squad, clearly the best penetrator in the group. He'd be perfect as a 4-3 DT, but might be too small to play NT in the 3-4?

Athyba Rubin (6'2", 315, 5.2)
Not as quick/penetrating as Fluellen, but very strong and powerful and easily drove his man back with consistency. Not a slug, either, as he showed decent explosiveness off the ball. Has the size and strength be a solid NT. I wouldn't mind him as a 4th rounder to backup Franklin and let Soap/Fields stay at DE.

Dre Moore also looked strong and drove his man back, but seems better suited as a run stuffing DE (which we already have enough of). Red Bryant was nasty and feisty, but really didn't do much performance-wise. Harrison didn't show much at all during practices.
