In which case, I'd trade our 3rd+4th for a mid-2nd to get him (or take Nicks at #39 and Lofton with the mid-2nd, depending on whose stock is higher).

In general, I would advocate trading up in this draft. We don't need depth anymore, we need starters. Our roster is pretty much filled with decent backups at every position right now, and a 4th/5th rounder may not even make the team. Ideally, I'd like to see 3 players drafted in the first 2 rounds: OT, OLB, ILB. A stud WR would also be nice, if available at #29.
