from what I read, Balmer will be used exclusively at LDE, at least at first, so if he starts I am guessing they will move Sopoaga to NT.
I also read that Moore will be backing up Willis and Ulbrich will play LILB. I was hoping they would give Moore another chance. Ezra Butler was signed and could play LILB as well. This position still needs to be addressed.
Nolan has talked about Reggie Smith playing opposite of Clements. We'll see if he is quick enough to play corner or if he will eventually move to free safety.
The defense looks pretty good, except for no proven pass rusher.
The offense, otoh, is a different story. Still would want an OT, #1 WR and improved QB play. I have no idea how things will turn out this year. won't/can't be worse, that's for sure.
