The base 2-TE / 1-RB set can be used in a variety of formations.

Reminds me of the 80s and 90s when Craig & Rathman and Watters & Floyd could either split out wide or stay in the backfield, transforming the offense from a base 2-back formation to a 4-WR set with simple pre-snap motion.
