The 49ers reached a five-year contract agreement with first-round pick Kentwan Balmer.

The defensive lineman's deal is worth $11.5 million, with $6 million in guaranteed money.

Balmer, who played at North Carolina, was the 29th overall pick.

The 49ers hold their first team meeting Thursday afternoon and their first practice Friday.
