The JTO Show rolls on at training camp
The quarterbacks show up at work each morning and find out the rotation for practices that day from offensive coordinator Mike Martz. They've been hearing the same thing for quite a while now.
J.T. O'Sullivan worked again with the first team this morning, while Alex Smith practiced with the second team. Again, Shaun Hill did not take any 11-on-11 snaps. Hill has not taken any practice snaps in 11-on-11 since Wednesday, Aug. 6.
O'Sullivan again ran the two-minute drill at the end of practice. He completed 6 of 9 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. One of his incomplete passes was a spike to stop the clock. The unit scored a touchdown on the drive. Kentwan Balmer jumped offsides to create a free play for the 49ers' offense. O'Sullivan lofted a ball into the right front corner of the end zone that a leaping Josh Morgan caught against Nate Clements' coverage for a 14-yard score.

For the day, O'Sullivan completed 10 of 18 passes, while Smith completed 8 of 9. The 49ers have a special-teams practice in the afternoon.

By the way, I'll have a Q&A with Mike Martz a little later (after I transcribe the interview). There's nothing earth-shattering, but he does have a few interesting things to say.
