He did play two seasons in NFL Europe and I think he won championships both times. Some other fairly successful NFL QBs have spent time over there and didn't have nearly his success.

As far as the Niners being any good... for the last few years most religious observers have stated that if the team had any offense they could at least be a .500 team. They had that in '06 and were 7-9. I think this team has better overall talent than that team.

So, if JTO can guide the team to at least an average offensive performance, they could probably be .500 again. 9-7 or 10-6... they would need to really develop.
