it was probably the worst interview with an NFL coach in his position of all time. Not only did Nolan take zero responsibility for anything; not only did he continue to simply say "winning" and "consistency" are what they need, but Nolan was flat out fucking stupid.

Nolan appeared to be the last one to know that our penalty/challenging system in place is the worst in the NFL. He couldnt' even answer simple questions like "who is your guy you go to for help?". Despite saying he still hadn't seen the Basket replay, he didn't appear to even know what the Niners system for those situations is or should be. He was even content with it today! He didn't even appear to have any urgency toward fixing the problem despite the KNBR morning dils shoving the problem down his throat, and despite him knowing damn well it turned a 47 yard FG attempt into a TD and left us without timeouts.

Nolan also argued with the KNBR guys (who tossed him around like O'Reilly would toss around some liberal on Fox somehow) and said PHI didn't pressure the niners in the 4th quarter. He also pretended as if they did in fact run the ball in the 4th quarter, even though they only gave their best player (gore) the ball 2 times in the quarter with a lead.

To cap it off, he hasn't once taken any responsibility for the horrible bus/prevent no pass rush D he's been calling all year while giving up 30 points every game and watching Walt Harris get destroyed weekly.

Nolan has been an atrocious game day manager since he got here. Our special teams has been off and on and is even costing us games this year. And now our highly paid defense is horrible, we'll probably be 2-5 next week, his record in 4 years is horrible, he continues to say "at least we're in the games now", he's asking JTO to be Montana in the 4th, and he is still the coach that divided our team last year to the point of Gore complaining.

He also likes to blame the team, he likes to keep Manny Lawson on the sidelines, has kicked FG's down 7 with 2 minutes left, runs on 3rd and long, thinks an onside kick is easier to execute than an 4th and 10 pass, and is the only one in the Bay Area that hasn't figured out what a horrible shit show this niners team has become.

If he is not fired sometime between now and the BYE week, then we might as well stop following this team and just stick to telling stories about the ol' days. that seems to be the trend for Bay Area teams anyway. horrible.
