it's a fine line between "tough love" and "nice guy", and I think he came out on the wrong side of that situation.

I think he sounded like a guy with resolve early on, and really tried to get the guys to buy into his thought process, but it didn't work out. somewhat due to circumstances, somewhat due to his decisions...
