not that easy, QB's are hard to come by outside the first

QB's taken later in the draft usually suck.

Since 2001 81 QB's have been drafted in rounds 2-7, only 8 have done anything:

Drew Brees: 2001, pick 32
David Garrard: 2002, pick 108
Matt Schaub: 2004, pick 90
Derek Anderson: 2005, pick 213
Matt Cassel: 2005, pick 230
Tavaris Jackson: 2006, pick 64
Trent Edwards: 2007, pick 92
Tyler Thigpen: 2007, pick 217

So yeah, history says it's 50/50 to get a good QB in the first, but a 1 in 10 shot after that. I'd also say that only Brees could be considered a franchise QB on the above list, and pick 32 would be in the fist round this year.
