He spent more time with Walsh than I thought. But not exactly at the same level

as guys on the coaching staff. Just because Walsh talked with him about psychology doesn't mean that Singletary is applying any of it in the way Walsh would, or one of Walsh's better coaches, or whether the "psychology" they discussed had anything to do with evaluating potential draft picks or free agents. "Psychology" can refer to a lot of things.

They should be doing the psychological testing, no doubt about it. But Singletary is also coming across as a fairly weird guy and the outcome of all of this remains to be seen. I'm rooting for him to succeed, just like I hope everyone who comes in here is successful.
