I was like allright! The guy could play DB and return punts. Was very good in college and ran a 4.4 at the combines. However, once he took the field in the NFL, he was a step slow. He didn't have the fast game speed. It's amazing how scouts look so much at the 40 times. It's like a 4.45 compared to a 4.55 is suppose to make or break your pick? I can understand if a 4.7 was run. All you have to do is look at the films and ask yourself...did he play against good competition and does he look faster on film compared to the 40 time with no pads and in an perfect environment.
Bay-Hayward was going to be a 2nd rounder at best. And if Bay-Hawyard ran a 4.5? He probably would be a 2nd/3rd round pick. Crabtree running a 4.5 is no worse than a 10 pick. That has got to tell you something about the play himself. Al Davis :-p LOL
