A starting, effective QB is what separates this team (or any team) from consistently being in every game and making the playoffs.

But it's becoming more and more likely that they'll find that QB (if it isn't on the roster now) next year.

I don't necessarily think the offseason pickups so far wastes, but yes, this year, they'll be held back by the QBs on the roster. They'll be really nice to have next year, though.
