Draft Countdown had him going in the third round in their mock draft, and NFL Draft Scout reported he was rising as draft day approached, with estimates he'd go in the second or third round. I think he helped himself a lot in interviews. From what I've seen of Coffee, he seems very bright and hard-working.

The only surprise with Coffee is that he's the same style player Gore is. I was expecting a power back, while others were hoping for a speed back. Sheets might be the speed back, but we didn't really get the power back.
