Matt Barrows brought up the idea of Niners going after JPeppers. He thinks it would cost them the 2010 #1 pick that they got from Carolina recently and a combination of other picks or players. He said they could fit him under the salary cap no problem. If the cost aint too high, I like the idea. I'd rather give up a player than an extra pick though.

Possibly Arnaz Battle and/or Sopoaga + the #1? I think they might go for it. Or what about Balmer and the 2010 #1? Only thing I'm not crazy about is he's already 29 years old (30 in January). He might have 3-4 more good years in him is all. But he sure would help the pass rush out!
