So the justification of taking Darius is that he still hasn't tapped into his potential? Sometimes you cannot take the safe pick. While Darius hasn't had the numbers and productivty like Crabtree, he's worth the gamble? Let's not pretend like Crabtree has tapped his full potential. Crabtree only played two years at Texas Tech. The only thing that's going to prevent Crabtree fron becoming a good NFL receiver is his QB and OL. Darius would be a steal if you picked him the 2nd or 3rd round. Even if he turns out to be good...at #7 he is no steal.
