Norv Turner was the last OC and actually the first since the 90s that I actually had confidence in.
I was mildly enthusiastic about Mike Martz because after Hostler it was great to have an OC that knew what he was doing, but it turned out that Martz just has a system and he tried to fit everyone into his system.
Contrary to popular belief, I think this team has some offensive talent. Gore, Morgan, Davis, Walker, Michael Robinson... I think these guys are (Gore) or can be big time weapons.
The one thing I like about Raye is it sounds like he doesn't have a "system". He's just going to tailor the offense to the players strengths. It might turn out to be pretty vanilla, but I think this team needs to get back to basics.
