Reports are that Crabtree may be seeking that kind of money, and would jump all over it offered. I've never seen anything to suggest it was ever offered, and certainly not ever refused. 49ers would be stupid to offer top-6 or 7 money to a #10 pick anyway.

And it isn't as if Crabtree is the last top 10 pick to sign. As of today, the 6, 8, and 9 pick are also unsigned.

The media is trying to make stories out of rumors. They don't need any help.
