Why deactivate both Jones and Hill when Crabtree is going to play after only practicing a short period of time?

I hope he doesn't struggle.

I like Battle and all but why does he get the nod over the others?

I am guessing it is either because of Battle's special teams play or it is because Jones' main asset is speed and the 49ers don't throw deep anyways.
