And in the two games since, the new punt returners have done the following:

(1) Battle fumbled a punt inside the 20 to give the Texans an easy TD. And the Niners lost by 3 points.

(2) Clements got injured on a punt return and is out for six weeks.

Now they sign a CB to replace Clements, and who do they release? Spurlock. LOL.
