Big, nasty, intimidating. It's no coincidence that even Kevan Barlow looked good running behind that line. If they had a lead in the 4th quarter, that offensive line could just pound the defense into submission and chew up the clock.
Our current guys up front are likable, nice, funny, easy-going, witty, terrific on camera, just a load of fun to watch on those 49ers.com videos. But sometimes I wonder if we're missing a guy like Jeremy Newberry, Ray Brown or even a washed-up Larry Allen. Big, nasty, intimidating.
When your running plays are repeatedly getting stuffed in short-yardage situations, it's no secret what the problem is.
