Determine who you like, and then go get them. If there isn't a player you like at that pick, then trade down. If there's someone you like but won't get to you, then trade up.

The worst thing teams do is say "well, there's these 3 OT's... we'll take the one that falls to us". What they should do is identify the one that they are after and go get them. Odds are than one will be a complete bust and you don't want other teams making that decision for you.

I agree that the Niners need star level players more than bodies. They won't have a lot of departures and will have to make space for these guys. Take OLB for example, if they draft a pass rusher, he better be damn good because one of Haralson/Brooks or the rookie will likely be inactive on gamedays.
